The FSFAB world championships in cadre 35/2 and 45/2 1911/1 was the 7th cadre 45/2 world championship of the FSFAB amateurs . The tournament took place in New York City from February 7-16, 1911 . World championships of the Fédération Française de Billard (FFB) were held parallel to those of the FSFAB .
history
The tournament was played on match billiards with a 45 cm mark on the cadre fields. After the main tournament was over, Conklin and Poggenburg were at the top of the table with 8: 2 points. There was a game of stitches for the title. Here Conklin won with 400: 294 in 37 shots. Gardener and Poensgen were third and fourth with 6: 4 points. Here, too, there was a playoff for third place. Gardner won this with 400: 376 in 42 shots. As usual in America, Poensgen had no follow-up and played 41 recordings.
