The FSV Kürenz 1920 eV is a football club from the Trier district of Kürenz .
The club's sports facility is located on the " Petrisberg " on the site of the former state horticultural show.
He celebrated his greatest successes in the post-war period when he was a member of the Oberliga Südwest from 1946 to 1950 . At that time, this represented one of the five seasons of the top division.
The club was best known for the highest post-war defeat in a first division game in Germany, the 0:20 at 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the major league season 1946/47. Also with at least ten goals conceded, FSV Kürenz finished the games at Borussia Neunkirchen (0:12, 1947/48) and again in Kaiserslautern (this time 0:18, 1949/50).
Since the 2015/16 season, the first men’s team of FSV Kürenz has been playing in the 10th class district league C Trier / Eifel of the Rhineland Football Association .
