Teams

In the 2016/17 season, the FV took part in matches with two men, one women and a large number of youth teams. The first men's team won the championship in the ninth-class district league Baden-Baden Süd. Historical successes include reaching the final of the South Baden Association Cup in 1968, which was lost to FC Singen with 0:10. The FV was one of the four amateur representatives of the South Baden Football Association in the 1974/75 DFB Cup season , but was eliminated in the first main round against the then northern league club SV Arminia Hannover after a 3-1 home defeat.

Venue

After the previous playground on Rastatter Straße had to give way to an industrial area, the FV has had its home in Ried on the local road from Oos to Haueneberstein since 1980 . There are two grass pitches next to the club house built in the same year.

Personalities

The most famous player of the FV is Wolfgang Böhni , who played with SV Waldhof Mannheim in the early 1980s in the Bundesliga .
