Fabian Windhager (born September 7, 2001 ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

Windhager began his career at ATSV Mattighofen . In 2011 he joined the youth team of FC Red Bull Salzburg , where he later played in the academy. In 2017 he played for the Salzburg U-18 team for the first time.

In May 2018, he played for the "Bullen" farm team , FC Liefering , for the first time in the second division , when he was in the starting line-up against FC Wacker Innsbruck on matchday 34 of the 2017/18 season and in the 76th division. Minute was replaced by Bojan Lugonja .

For the 2020/21 season, he moved to the regional league team USK Anif on a cooperation basis .

National team

Windhager played for an Austrian national youth team for the first time in February 2016. In March 2020 he made his debut against Slovenia for the U-19 team .
