Hans Fabigan
Hans Fabigan (born June 14, 1901 in Vienna ; † February 23, 1975 ibid) was an Austrian painter and poster artist. In 1961 he received the City of Vienna Prize for Fine Arts (Applied Art category).
Fabigan attended the Vienna Graphic Education and Research Institute . His most successful period was in the 1950s, when he designed many contemporary posters and also taught at the city of Vienna's art school. Fabigan is buried in an honorary grave at the Vienna Central Cemetery (group 40).
