Prize of the City of Vienna for Fine Arts

The City of Vienna Prize for Fine Arts was awarded annually from 1947 to 2001 for the three categories of applied arts , sculpture, and painting and graphics . It has been awarded annually since 2002 without naming a category.

Mode of price

The price is regulated by the Department of Culture of the City of Vienna (MA 7). One award winner currently (2009) receives prize money of 8,000 euros.
