Franz Xaver Ölzant (* 1934 in Oberzeiring , Styria ) is an Austrian sculptor. He lives and works in Pfaffenschlag near Waidhofen an der Thaya .

Life

Ölzant studied from 1955 to 1958 at the University of Applied Arts Vienna . In the summer of 1969 he attended the St. Margarethen Sculpture Symposium in Burgenland . From 1978 to 1982 he attended the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna , where he also held a professorship from 1986 to 2001.

• 1957 reliefs of Christ Pantocrator flanked by two angels above the three portals of the vestibule of the parish church of Baden-St. Christoph
