Appreciation award of the state of Styria for fine arts
The State of Styria Prize for Fine Arts is awarded to artists in recognition of their overall artistic work in the field of visual arts by the State of Styria . The prize money is 10,000 euros and is awarded by a jury. Curt Schnecker was one of the jury members from 1987 to 1997 .

The prize was awarded annually from 1970 to 2002; since 2004, it has been awarded every three years, and in 2003 no prize was awarded.
