Othmar Zechyr

Othmar Zechyr (born May 28, 1938 in Linz , † September 13, 1996 in Linz) was an Austrian painter and draftsman .

Live and act

After attending the graphic department of the State Trade School in Linz, he began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, but broke it off after a few days. In 1961 and 1963 he took part in Oskar Kokoschka's School of Seeing at the Salzburg Summer Academy for Fine Arts.

Exhibitions

Zechyr presented his works for the first time in a solo exhibition in 1962 and subsequently took part in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad.
