Elfriede Mejchar
Elfriede Mejchar (* 1924 in Vienna ) is an Austrian photographer .
Life
Elfriede Mejchar grew up in Lower Austria, attended school in Germany from 1939, where she then began an apprenticeship as a photographer. At the end of the war in 1945, Mejchar lived again in Lower Austria. In 1961 Mejchar passed the master craftsman's examination at the graphic teaching and research institute in Vienna. From 1952 to 1984 Mejchar was a photographer at the Federal Monuments Office in Vienna and has been working as a freelancer ever since.
