Franz Graf (artist)

Franz Graf (born July 22, 1954 in Tulln ) is an Austrian conceptual artist . In his work he combines drawing, photography and installations .

Life

Graf studied at the Vienna University of Applied Arts with Oswald Oberhuber and worked closely with Brigitte Kowanz from 1979 to 1984 . From 1997 to 2006 he was a visiting professor at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts .

Franz Graf is a member of the Association of Visual Artists of the Vienna Secession .

In 2012 he designed a permanent installation entitled “SUED”, four murals that were digitally printed on glass for the passage that connects Vienna's main train station with the S-Bahn station and the U1 station.
