Gundi Dietz
Gundi Dietz (* 1942 in Vienna ) is an Austrian ceramic artist.
Dietz studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and completed the master class for ceramic sculpture with Heinz Leinfellner and in 1969/70 the master class for design theory with Herbert Tasquil . In 1982 Dietz also trained as a make- up artist in Berlin .
The artist, who has been working independently since 1973, received the Lower Austrian Art Promotion Prize in 1982 , the City of Vienna Prize for Fine Arts in 1983 and a Rome grant in 1984/85, which gave her the opportunity to work with Federico Fellini . Dietz is a member of the AIC - Académie Internationale de la Céramique, Geneva. In 1993 she received the Silver Badge of Honor of the State of Lower Austria. In 2001 she was given the professional title of Professor .
