Wilhelm Jaruska

Wilhelm Jaruska (born July 26, 1916 in Vienna ; † December 2, 2008 ibid) was a Viennese painter, art teacher and commercial artist. He taught at the Höhere Graphische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt , most recently at Leyserstraße in Vienna's 14th district.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Jaruska designed printing works for the City of Vienna's press and information service, which was founded in 1967, for the public relations work of the city administration, which was then headed by Helmut Krebs .

Jaruska was buried in the Vienna Central Cemetery . A catalog of works by Jaruska was published in 2020 at Kunsthandel Widder, Vienna.
