Alois Mosbacher's work ranges from figurative and abstract painting to installation. He is one of the main representatives of the New Painting of the 80s.

Alois Mosbacher has appeared every four or five years since the early 1980s with a series of pictures that actively intervene in the international discussion on painting. This has resulted in a highly relevant work over the years.

Mosbacher showed his works a. a. in exhibitions in the Galerie Krinzinger , in the Aargauer Kunsthaus , in the Neue Galerie Graz and in the Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig , as well as with Erwin Wurm in the Kunstverein Bremen .
