Eduard Angeli

Eduard Angeli (born July 15, 1942 in Vienna ) is a contemporary Austrian painter .

Life

Eduard Angeli studied painting and art education at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and history at the University of Vienna . In 1965 he graduated from Robin Christian Andersen's class . From 1967 to 1971 he was in Istanbul, from 1967 to 1971 he taught as a visiting professor at the Academy of Applied Arts in Istanbul. In 1971 he returned to Vienna. Eduard Angeli lives and works in Vienna and Venice. On the occasion of Eduard Angeli's 75th birthday, the Albertina Vienna is showing a retrospective of his work and presenting paintings and drawings from the artist's beginnings in the 1960s to the present day.
