Georg Friedrich Fritsch

Georg Friedrich Fritsch (born May 7, 1817 in Siegen , † June 19, 1881 in Karlsruhe ) was a German politician . From 1847 to 1851 he was mayor of Mülheim an der Ruhr and from 1853 to 1878 Prussian district administrator of the Soest district .

Life

Georg Friedrich Fritsch was appointed auscultator after passing the examination at the Berlin Court of Appeal. On November 5, 1842, the examination for trainee lawyer at the Arnsberg Higher Regional Court followed with the result “good” with subsequent appointment as trainee lawyer. After passing the assessor examination - also with the result "good" - the appointment as court assessor at the Arnsberg Higher Regional Court followed on March 4, 1846 . From December 1847 to January 31, 1851 Fritsch was the mayor of the city of Mülheim and then went back to the state service of the Arnsberg district government . On November 16, 1852 he was appointed government assessor at the Arnsberg government and after a short time he was entrusted with the municipal administration of the district office of Soest . On October 17, 1853 was the definitive appointment as district administrator. He was elected as a candidate for the office of district administrator by the Siegen district council in 1855, but a petition from residents of the Soest district prevented this project.

For health reasons, Fritsch was released from civil service on August 16, 1878.
