Fabio Alberto Roversi Monaco

Fabio Alberto Roversi Monaco (born December 18, 1938 in Addis Ababa ) is an Italian lawyer .

He studied law at the University of Bologna (graduating in 1962) and completed his habilitation in 1967. He then taught public law at the political science faculty until 1972 . In 1974 he moved to the Faculty of Law, initially as a constitutional lawyer, from 1977 on for administrative law. From 1973 Roversi Monaco was a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Bologna. Monaco was rector of the University of Bologna from 1985 to 2000 . His successor in office was Pier Ugo Calzolari .

Roversi Monaco has been President of the investment bank Banca IMI since 2013 .

Roversi Monaco is Grand Master of the Freemason Lodge P2 .

Roversi Monaco is President of the Mozart Orchestra founded by Claudio Abbado .
