Fabio Conversi

Fabio Conversi (* 1950 in Rome ) is an Italian cameraman and film producer .

Life

Conversi started as a camera assistant in 1975 and became a cameraman in 1982; Since 1990 he has been involved in numerous projects as chief cameraman, mainly in France. In 1998 he directed his first film as director , which was followed by two more; they hardly stayed in the cinemas and in the mind. Since the turn of the millennium, he has also increasingly dedicated himself to the production of cinema films. In 2009 he won the Italian film award Nastro d'Argento for Il Divo, which he co-produced .

A daughter comes from a relationship with Fanny Ardant , whom he met while filming in 1988. Even after the relationship ended, they often worked together.
