Fabio Ochoa Vásquez , (born May 2, 1957 in Medellín , Colombia ) is a Colombian drug trafficker. He was a key member of the Medellín cartel until his last arrest .

The Ochoa clan was largely entrusted with the procurement of chemical substances (e.g. kerosene , esters , methanol ) that were intended for the extraction of cocaine from the coca plant . The family is very influential in Colombia.

After his release from prison, Ochoa returned to the drug trade of his friend Alejandro Bernal , also known as "Juvenal", which led to his extradition to the United States on September 7, 2001 . In 2003 he was sentenced there to a prison term of 30 years, which he is currently serving.
