Lionel Casimir Fabritzius

Lionel Casimir Fabritzius (born October 11, 1821 in Paris ; died October 13, 1866 there ) was a French draftsman and caricaturist. He was a student of Paul Delaroche .

His caricatures appeared in La Revue comique à l'usage des gens sérieux in 1848 and 1849, among others . In 1850 he was admitted with a job at the Paris Salon . Portraits of his painter colleagues were included in the anthology Le diable à Paris: Paris et les Parisiens à la plume et au crayon in 1868 .
