Fabrizio Lori (* 1946 in Rome ) is an Italian film producer and director .

Life

Lori attended the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica under Alessandro Fersen for three years and then produced Gianni Amelio's very good television film La città del sole in 1972 . In 1981 he directed for the first time; Il falco e la colomba was awarded the Premio Rizzoli for the best first work. After another film production, Lori was responsible for the TV version of Nicholas Nickleby and then made two movies that were technically neat, but came at the beginning of the Italian cinema crisis and were hardly noticed. Lo strano caso del dottor Kappa , shot in 1998 and his last work to date, could not be performed until 2001.

In 2000 Lori founded the company "Matrix Film" with Pacifica Artuso .

Lori should not be confused with the entrepreneur and football official of the same name, Fabrizio Lori (* 1968).
