The Technical College of the Army 2 (FHSH 2) in Munich was next to the University of Applied Sciences of the Army 1 in Darmstadt one of the two colleges of the army .

The training facility was integrated in 1975 together with the Army 1 University of Applied Sciences and the Air Force University of Applied Sciences in Neubiberg into the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich , which was renamed the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich in 1985. The last study course at the University of Applied Sciences of the Army 2 ended in July 1980. The task of the University of Applied Sciences of the Army was to train army service officers to become graduated engineers .
