The Alte Ölmühle specialist clinic is a specialist clinic for the rehabilitation of addictive disorders in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt . The clinic building is a listed building .

The clinic is located at Berliner Chaussee 66 in the Magdeburg district of Brückfeld . The clinic building is on the south side of Berliner Chaussee immediately west of the junction with the street An der Ölmühle .
Architecture and history
The building, which is now used as a clinic, was built in 1938 according to plans by the well-known architect Heinrich Tessenow as an administration building for the United Oil Works Hubbe and Farenholtz . A very simply designed two- to three-storey building was created. The facade of the elongated plastered building comprises 16 axes. In addition to the lattice windows, the barely profiled walls of the windows and doors serve as structuring elements. The house is covered with slightly protruding flat gable roofs that rest on pillow-like bulge profiles .
To the east is a single-storey gate building, which, however, has been heavily redesigned.
In 2003/2004 the house was refurbished and converted to accommodate the specialist clinic.
The building is considered one of Tessenow's most important works, precisely because of its restrained presentation. In the local register of monuments , the administration building is listed as a monument under registration number 094 81848 .
Furnishing
The clinic treats people with alcohol addiction, drug addiction, drug addiction and multiple addictions. The clinic belongs to Medinet GmbH and has 66 places in the inpatient area in six single and 30 double rooms. Other buildings belong to the clinic with the adaptation house, the specialist outpatient clinic and workshops. In addition to the patient rooms, the main building also houses the medical and therapeutic rooms, common rooms, a cafeteria , a teaching kitchen, a laundrette and a Finnish sauna . There is also an outside terrace on the building. An old locksmith's shop adjoining the main building was converted into a barrier-free rehabilitation workshop. There are also three computer workstations here.
In the clinic there are diagnostic devices for sonography of the abdomen , spirometry , EKG and stress EKG. A four-cell bath , electricity and ultrasound therapy, steam inhalers and heat therapy are available at therapeutic facilities .
The outpatient rehabilitation with addiction counseling and aftercare is housed in Haus Berliner Chaussee 71 .
In the adaptation, 16 places are available, with three to four patients living together in one apartment. The clinic has a sports hall and a sports field.
There is a meadow orchard on the outside area .
