Fafaatu (also: Favatu , Fawatu Island , Isolotto Favatu ) is a tiny island in Somalia . Politically, it belongs to Jubaland .

geography

The island is located south of Punta Tartaruga , with the observation spot Kisimayu Island and Kismayu Seaport . It is one of the Bajuni Islands in the Bay of Kismayo. In the south Bishikaani joins at some distance . There are numerous other tiny islands and several reefs and rocks in the Bay of Kismayo, including Biloone , Blaankeed Noo , Meedso and Fered .
