The Driving Instructor Act regulates the training and professional practice of driving instructors in Germany .

Pursuant to Section 1, Paragraph 1, Clause 1 of the Act, only those learner drivers who are in possession of a driving instructor license may train ( prohibition subject to permission ). The requirements for acquiring a driving instruction license are specified in Section 2 of the Act. Infringements are illegal according to § 36 and can be punished with fines of up to 2,500 euros .

The Driving Instructor Act is supplemented by several ordinances , e.g. B. by

  • the learner driver training regulations ,
  • the implementing regulation for the Driving Instructors Act ,
  • the driving instructor training regulations and
  • the driving instructor examination regulation .
