Faiz Faizi (born October 22, 1992 ) is an Afghan football player who has played for the Afghan first division club Shaheen Asmayee since February 2017 .

Career

Faizi joined the club of the southwestern region of Afghanistan De Maiwand Atalan in the newly formed Afghan Premier League for the 2012 season . With the 1-0 opening goal in the 3-1 win against Shaheen Asmayee , the striker scored the first goal in league history. At the end of the season there was fourth place. The 2013 season was disappointing; all three games in the preliminary round were lost. In the 1: 2 defeat against Oqaban Hindukush , Faizi was sent off for insulting, along with other teammates and coaches. On September 10, 2013, he was excluded from the league for two years.

For the 2015 season , Faizi returned to De Maiwand Atalan; in only three missions he won the bronze medal with the team. For the 2016 season , Faizi was named captain of the team. In six missions he scored three goals and was runner-up after losing to Shaheen Asmayee in the final. In February 2017, the striker switched to final opponent Shaheen Asmayee and took part in the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup with her .
