Family Law , which is occasionally broadcast on pay TV under the title Frauenpower , is an American television series. The series, which was invented by Paul Haggis , was broadcast in three seasons from 1999 to 2002.

The series revolves around the life of a newly divorced family law attorney whose ex-husband was also a lawyer and ran a law firm with her. Not only did he throw her out of the office, he also tied all clients to himself. So she tries to get started with her own law firm.
Trivia
The series was obviously based on the German RTL production Die Familienanwältin . The first episode / pilot episode was practically a 1: 1 re-shoot in the German version.
