Fanélie Carrey-Conte (born May 16, 1980 in Bègles ) is a French politician . She has been a member of the National Assembly since 2012 .

As a student, Carrey-Conte fought for the rights of students, especially for everyone's right to a place at university. As a result, she joined the Parti socialiste in 2000 . In 2008 she became the leader of her party in the 20th arrondissement of Paris . In the same year she took part in the city council elections, and in 2010 also in the regional elections . In 2012 she was elected deputy by George Pau-Langevin , who ran for the National Assembly in the 15th constituency of Paris. In the June elections , Pau-Langevin managed to get into parliament. Because she was appointed minister and therefore had to leave parliament, Carrey-Conte moved up for her in the National Assembly in July 2012.
