The “ Fanfarenzug Holsterhausen 53 e. V. "(short FZH53) is a natural clay - Fanfarenzug from the North Rhine-Westphalia Lippe city Dorsten . The Fanfarenzug was founded on March 13, 2005. The idea of ​​a fanfare procession within the General Citizens' Rifle Club Holsterhausen '53 e. The then captain of the 2nd company, Robert Husch senior, had to set up V. The music procession made its first public appearance as part of the Schützenfest in Holsterhausen on Pentecost Sunday 2005. Since then, it has played at numerous events at home and abroad.

In January 2008 it was decided to be listed as a registered association in the association register. While the first appearances were still in black trousers and a white shirt, the fanfare procession presented itself for the first time in October 2008 in the historic Landsknecht costume. A heraldic full coat of arms of the Dorstener district "Holsterhausen" adorns the chest of the musicians. In the summer of 2009 TV appearances for the television production " Nur die Liebe sucht " followed. In addition to natural trumpets and Landsknecht drums (tenor drums), timpani, bass drums and flag throwers are also used.

The Fanfarenzug Holsterhausen, like other fanfares of importance in the media, is organized in the interest group of pure fanfare trains in North Rhine-Westphalia, The New Guild of Field Trumpeters and Heerpauker .

The IG, which was founded by the 1. Landsknecht Fanfarenkorps Haltern am See, among other things, serves the clubs to exchange experiences and music. For this purpose, rehearsals and public concerts are held with the member associations every six months.

The musical development, which arose through the training of the regional association's music lecturers, was further reinforced by the musical director Tim Glaser's own compositions. So it was decided in 2007 to take part in the open music competition for the “Glass Trumpet of the City of Marl ”. The FZH53 won the trophy straight away. In 2008 and 2009 this award could be defended and so far the only musical train to win the "Glass Trumpet" three times in a row.

In autumn 2009 the fanfare procession took part for the first time in the state championship of the Music Association of North Rhine-Westphalia, which was also the qualification for the German championship of the Federal Association of minstrels, fanfare, horns and music trains in May 2010. The Holsterhausen-based company was able to secure the national championship title in the “natural clay traditional” class and thus the qualification. On April 18, 2010, the Fanfarenzug also became national champions of the second North Rhine-Westphalian music association ( LandesMusikVerband NRW 1960 ). The Holsterhausen-based company is the first fanfare procession to be the title holder of both music associations at the same time. In May 2010, the fanfare procession was the first German champion of the German Federal Association in the class "natural tone traditional". On October 2nd, 2011, the youth train of the fanfare train at the national championship in Marienheide NRW became national champion of the juniors in the class "natural clay traditional".
