Fanny von Wilamowitz-Moellendorff
Fanny Countess von Wilamowitz-Moellendorff , née Fanny Malin Huldine Freiin von Fock (born May 3, 1882 in Stockholm ; † June 5, 1956 there ), was a Swedish writer.
life and work
Fanny von Fock was the daughter of a Swedish officer. In 1903 she married the German Wichard Hugo Henning von Wilamowitz-Moellendorff (* 1871), who died in the First World War in 1916 .
Fanny von Wilamowitz-Moellendorff published a volume of poetry in Swedish as well as a sketch of the life of her late sister Carin Göring , Hermann Göring's first wife . By 1943 the book had appeared in 733,000 copies. Fanny von Wilamowitz-Moellendorff was an avowed National Socialist.
