Fanta Regina Nacro
Fanta Régina Nacro (born September 4, 1962 in Tenkodogo , Upper Volta ) is a Burkinabe director.
She completed her training at the Institut Africain d'Etudes Cinématographique (INAFEC) and the University of Ouagadougou .
With the short film Bintou , Nacro received the Kodak Short Film Award at the 2001 Cannes Festival and the FESPACO 2001 for best short film. Her first feature film La Nuit de la vérité received an award at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Donostia-San Sebastián in the category Best New Screenwriter .
