Color tone

A color tone is a combination of several colors that have a defined relationship to one another with the same brightness and color quality .

Color tones appear harmonious and yet rich in contrast . They can be used well to clearly differentiate between different facts that are not in contrast to one another. Optimal color tones are achieved by combining one or two basic colors and their gradations, which increase each other. The richness of nuances is the decisive feature of the harmonious, harmonious effect of color tones.

Color sounds have the property that their distance from one another in the color hexagon is the same. They can be put together by placing equilateral surfaces, for example triangles or squares, over the color hexagon. The corner points of the surfaces then point to the color tones of a color tone; in the case of a triangle or square, the components of a three-tone or four-tone color.
