Farid Chaâl (born July 3, 1994 in Beni Douala , Tizi Ouzou Province ) is an Algerian football goalkeeper .

Chaâl's parent club is MC Alger from the Algerian capital, Algiers . There he was part of the squad in Ligue Professionnelle 1 from 2013 , but was mainly used in the U-21 team. In the 2015/16 season he was loaned to league rivals USM El Harrach , where he played 25 league and two cup games. The loan ended in summer 2016.

At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , Chaâl is part of the Algerian selection . He stood between the posts in the opening game against Honduras and was directly involved in two goals conceded in the 3-2 defeat.
