Farid Farjad , also Farid Fardschād or Ferîd Fercad (* 1938 in Tehran , Iran ) is an American violinist of Iranian origin. He is considered an important interpreter of classical Persian music , which he combines with influences from classical Western music.

Farjad studied violin playing at the Conservatory of Music in Tehran. In the course of the Islamic Revolution he left Iran in 1979 and settled in the USA. His albums are titled Anroozha Vol. 1 through Vol. 5.
