Fascia deltoidea

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The deltoid fascia is the fascia that covers the deltoid muscle . It is ventrally connected to the pectoral fascia , dorsally - where it is particularly reinforced - with the fascia of the infraspinatus muscle and distally with the brachial fascia . The deltoid fascia is attached to the spina scapulae , the collarbone and the acromion .

The deltoid fascia forms numerous septa between the individual muscle bundles of the deltoid muscle.
