Faseel-e-Jaan Se Aagay
Faseel-e-Jaan Se Aagay ( Urdu فصیل جان سے آگے; in German, for example: Beyond Duty ) is an action series directed by Kashif Nisar on behalf of the armed forces of Pakistan for the state television broadcaster PTV .
The series was particularly successful in the countryside.

The series is about eleven Pakistani soldiers who fight the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan in the tribal areas under federal administration in the Afghan- Pakistani border area . The plot is set in 2009.
The soldiers are described on the one hand as family people, on the other hand as patriotic heroes wearing cool sunglasses.

So far, two seasons have been produced (as of September 2011), with PTV currently broadcasting the second season.
Each episode cost about $ 12,000. The main characters are played by soldiers of the armed forces of Pakistan who do not receive any extra payments. Some real military equipment was used.
