Fashion Model Directory ( FMD ) is an online database of models , model agencies , fashion brands , fashion editorials , fashion designers , fashion magazines and photographers .
With entries on 16,000 models, 1,500 fashion designers, 5,000 fashion labels, 3,300 fashion magazines, 23,000 fashion editorials, 1,800 model agencies and over 600,000 photographers, it is one of the most comprehensive fashion and lifestyle- related databases. For each model, the data collection contains information on, for example, past photo shoots and bookings , published editorials or galleries, and further information.

FMD started out in 1998 as a private offline collection by Stuart Howard. The database went online in 2000 and has been updated weekly since then.
In 2002 Fashion One Group took over operations.
