Fatih Baydar

Fatih Baydar (* 1983 ) is a Turkish weightlifter .

Career

Baydar was European Youth Champion in 1999 and Vice European Junior Champion in 2003. He won bronze at the Junior World Championships in 2002 and 2003. Among the active players he only took part in the European Championships in 2012 and immediately won silver in a duel and gold in the snatch in the class up to 85 kg. Then he was part of the Turkish squad for the Olympic Games in London. Shortly before the games, however, he was tested positive for hydroxystanozolol during a training control and banned for two years.
