Fatima Djibo Sidikou is a Nigerien diplomat .

Life

Sidikou has held various posts in the Nigerien Foreign Ministry since 1983. Between 2002 and 2012 she was part of the Nigerien Embassy in Washington, DC with the rank of Premier Conseiller and Chargé d'affaires . In addition, she was Nigeria's delegate to UNESCO in Paris between 2007 and 2012 . From 2015 she worked as the Nigerien ambassador in Geneva , responsible for Switzerland , Liechtenstein and Austria . She was also the permanent representative of Niger at the United Nations Office in Geneva , the United Nations Office in Vienna and the World Trade Organization . In 2018 she was appointed Nigeria's ambassador to Senegal as successor to Hassane Kounou .

Sidikou is married to the diplomat and former Foreign Minister Nigers Maman S. Sidikou .
