Fatma Kara (born June 15, 1991 in Herten ) is a Turkish soccer player .
Career
Kara played until the end of the 2008/09 season at 1. FFC Recklinghausen in the association league and made promotion to the regional league with the team in 2009. She then moved to the regional league competitor SG Lütgendortmund , which she left for TuS Harpen during the winter break . In October 2010 she moved to Turkey to the first division club Trabzonspor . After a year at Trabzonspor, she left the club in November 2011 in the direction of city rivals Trabzon İdmanocağı . Kara played 58 games for İdmanocağı up to the winter of 2013 and scored 22 goals before signing with league rivals Ataşehir Belediyespor . On September 12, 2017, she moved to Besiktas Istanbul within Kadınlar 1. Futbol Ligi , before signing with HK / Víkingur in Iceland 8 months later on May 9, 2018 .
International
Kara is a national player in the squad of the Turkish national football team . Kara also took part in screening games for the U-15s of the DFB when she was younger, but was officially part of a national team in the Turkish U-17s for the first time. At the age of 16, Kara made her debut in Turkey's U-19 national team in the friendly against Macedonia on September 16, 2007, when she came on as a substitute in the 23rd minute and scored her first international goal in the 71st minute. Only eleven days later she came in the qualifying game for the U-19 European Championship against Poland for her first competitive game, in which she was in the starting line-up.
In May 2009 she won three friendlies with the senior national team against Azerbaijan , Georgia and Macedonia .
