Fatou Jammeh-Touray

Fatou Jammeh-Touray (* 20th century) is a Gambian politician.

Life

Jammeh-Touray was a lecturer at the Management Development Institute (MDI).

On March 6, 2017, Jammeh-Touray was appointed governor of the Upper River Region by the new Adama Barrow government, replacing Omar Sompo Ceesay , who was removed from this post in early February. In 2018, she became governor of the Lower River Region, replacing Fanta Bojang Samateh-Manneh , who took over the position in the Upper River Region. In mid-September 2019, Jammeh-Touray was transferred from the post of governor to the Ministry of Agriculture and is now deputy permanent secretary.
