Fatou Mbenga Jallow

Fatou Mbenga Jallow (also: Fatoumatta / Fatou Jallow ) is a Gambian economist.

Life

Fatou Mbenga Jallow studied at Fourah Bay College in Freetown (Sierra Leone).

From 1994 she worked as an economist at the Central Bank of Gambia , where she was promoted to Principal Economist .

In 1998/1999 she studied on a Commonwealth scholarship at Cardiff University in Great Britain and obtained a Masters degree in International Economics .

From 2003 she worked for the Gambia Investment Promotion and Free Zones Agency (GIPFZA) as an Investment Promotion Manager , from March 2005 as Director of Investment Promotion until July 2010, as GIPFZA through the successor organization Gambia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (GIEPA ) was replaced. Fatou Mbenga Jallow has been appointed CEO of the newly formed agency. She headed the agency until at least August 2016.

Before October 2017, she was the project coordinator of the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP), which trains young people.
