Fausta Labia (born March 4, 1870 in Verona , † June 10, 1935 in Rome ) was an Italian opera singer (soprano).

The older sister of the singer Maria Labia received singing lessons from her mother and from Spezia Aldigheri . She made her debut in 1891 at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona in Robert le diable by Giacomo Meyerbeer . From 1893–95 she was engaged in Stockholm, 1895–96 at the Teatro San Carlos Lisbon , then at the Teatro Regio Turin. In 1901 she sang the victorious parts in Richard Wagner's Walküre at La Scala in Milan under the direction of Arturo Toscanini and performed at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome.

In the following years she made a name for herself as a Wagner interpreter. In 1902 she sang Brünhilde in Siegfried and in the 1904–05 season at the Teatro Liceo in Barcelona she sang Eva in the Mastersingers . In 1907 she married the tenor Emilio Perea , from whom she separated again in 1911. Her daughter Gianna Perea-Labia also became a well-known singer. Fausta Labia had her last appearance in 1912 at the Teatro Politeama in Buenos Aires. Recordings of her have been received at Fonotipia Records , including duets with Emilio Perea.
