Faustina Hasse Hodges
Faustina Hasse Hodges (born August 7, 1823 in Malmesbury , † February 4, 1895 in Philadelphia ) was an American composer and organist.
Life
Faustina Hasse Hodges was the daughter of Edward Hodges and worked as an organist in Brooklyn and from 1878 in Philadelphia. She composed instrumentals and sacred chants, as well as secular songs and piano pieces. She wrote a biography of her father that appeared in print in 1896.
