Fausto Freitas da Silva

Fausto Freitas da Silva (born April 7, 1963 in Quelicai , Portuguese Timor ), battle name Liurai Tasi ( German  Lord of the Sea ), is a politician from East Timor and holds a Master of Human Resource Management. He is a member of the FRETILIN party .

At number 23 on the FRETILIN list, Silva successfully entered the national parliament of East Timor as a member of the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2017 . Here he became a member of the Commission for Constitutional Affairs, Justice, Public Administration, Local Jurisprudence and Anti-Corruption (Commission A). In the 2018 parliamentary elections , Silva missed entry into parliament on list position 42.

As a participant in the demonstration that ended in the Santa Cruz massacre , Silva is the holder of the Ordem Lorico Asuwain .
