Fay Well

Fay Na or Fay Nah (Prince [ Chao Mueang ] Nakhon Champasak [Negara Champasakra]; full throne name Brhat Vijaya Raja Khatiya Varman , Vichaiyarat Khattiyawongse; * mid-18th century; † 1811 ) was ruler with full powers from 1791 to 1807/11 a king under Siamese suzerainty in the Champasak empire .

Fay Na was the eldest son of Phra Ta, a member of the Suvarnkut family . Before being appointed ruler, he served as the governor of Yasudara . In 1791 King Rama I of Siam appointed him Prince-Governor ( Chao Mueang ) and gave him the title of Phra Vijaya Raja Khatiya Varman . He formed a new capital at Ban Kantakoeng, which was renamed Nakhon Champasak .

Fay Na died in 1811 leaving two sons and three daughters:
