The Maria-Theresien-Schlössel is a former castle at Gersthofer Straße 143 in the 18th district of Vienna , Währing , which today houses the museum of Erste Bank AG .

It is a one-story baroque country house that was used as a hunting lodge by Empress Maria Theresa . As part of the redesign of houses number 141–145 by the Erste Österreichische Spar-Casse , in which a new cashier was added to the building from the 18th century, the same was set up as a small museum. The building is now owned by the Lammel + Stix Immobilien Group and is fully let to Erste Group Bank AG.

On the upper floor there is a small hall with illusionistic wall paintings, the dolphin fountain in the cash desk, transferred from the main institution of the Sparkasse (on the Graben ), is also worth seeing .
