Federico Canuti
Federico Canuti (born August 30, 1985 in Pesaro ) is an Italian racing cyclist .
Career
Canuti won his first competition on the international calendar in 2006 with the Italian one-day race Giro della Valli Aretine . In the 2007 season he won a stage of the international U23 stage race Giro di Toscana . From 2008 to 2011 he drove for Italian-Irish professional Continental Team CSF Group-Navigare and competed in the Giro d'Italia in 2010 and 2011 , giving up the Grand Tour in 2010 and finishing in 93rd in 2011. His most important placements during this time were second places at the Hel van Het Mergelland in 2009 and 2011. In 2012 Canuti moved to ProTeam Liquigas-Cannondale , for which he finished the 2012 Tour de France as 114th. After he left this team at the end of the 2013 season, Canuti no longer competed at this level.
