Federico Tabeira , full name Federico Nicolás Tabeira Arrúa , (born February 8, 1996 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.75-meter-tall offensive player Tabeira was in the squad of the Uruguayan second division club Atlético Atenas at least in the 2013/14 season . At the club from San Carlos eight games and two goals in the Segunda División will be played for him that season. At the end of the season, his club rose to the highest Uruguayan league. At the beginning of September 2014, he switched to the Czech first division club Slovan Liberec on loan . This makes Tabeira the first Uruguayan player in the Czech league. At Slovan Liberec he was initially listed as a member of the youth team. There are no reports of a deployment in the professional team. At the beginning of 2016 he returned to Uruguay for Atenas and played eight second division games (no goal) for the club in the 2016 Clausura.

National team

Tabeira was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-17 national team at the U-17 South American Championship in Argentina in 2013 , which Celeste, supervised by Fabián Coito , finished fourth.
