Fedorov is a very small impact crater in the western Mare Imbrium . The crater is slightly elongated and strikingly shaped. On the north side, it ends in a chain of hills that rise up to 800 meters above the level of the surrounding Mare .
Federov is located east-northeast of the Diophantus crater and southeast of Delisle . Artsimovich crater is located about 20 kilometers to the southeast .
